Our hands-on sushi making experiences will encourage team bonding, strengthen relationships and improve communication all while making the most amazing sushi.
We can help you create the best experience for your team, or you can choose from popular team-building formats.
You’ll also delight the Office Manager as we bring absolutely everything with us – including all ingredients, culinary equipment, table settings and music – and we’ll tidy away at the end. All we need are some tables and water. Vegan options are also available so everyone can join in.

Sushi making masterclass
In this highly engaging 60-90 minute hands-on masterclass, everyone learns how to make 4 difference kinds of authentic sushi. This includes rolling different styles on maki sushi, forming little gunkan boats and hand-shaping temari-zushi – a particular favourite. We only use the very best ingredients, from premium sushi rice to sashimi grade fish and fresh vegetables so you’ll enjoy the most delicious results. This is ideal for all cooking experience levels. Once finished you can tuck into your creations, or take them away to enjoy later.
Sushi cooking challenge
Does your team need more of a challenge? Well we have the perfect solution for you. We can also provide a cooking challenge format where every team is given a mystery box of ingredients from which to create their own sushi masterpieces. You’ll be given a 20-minute demonstration in order to learn the basic sushi skills.. but from that point on… each team is on their own! The best, or most imaginative sushi will be judged by your colleagues and instructor. We can also set a strict time-limit to add a little time pressure and see who performs the best!

Fancy a little of both team-building sushi ideas, or maybe something a little different? We can work with you to design the perfect event for your team – speak with our experienced event manager and we’ll create a tailored experience just for you! We can also provide add-ons such as welcome drinks or cocktails, and provide further food and drinks to enjoy after the team building event.
